Dominic Hennig is the Director of Strategic Communications & Brand Advancement for the NCAA Division I College Hockey Conference, Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA). He is the former Director of Broadcasting & Communications for the Flint Firebirds in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). With more than a decade of professional experience in the hockey communications & PR industry, Hennig played a significant role in jump-starting the Firebirds' OHL organization in 2015, which now averages more than 3,000 fans per home game. He was also a key team member at Ferris State University's NCAA Division I Hockey program in recording seven consecutive years of increased attendance, beginning in 2009.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Hennig's professional goals include sustaining a career at the NHL level in broadcasting, communications, public relations or team services. He is also the founder of the home automation, home wifi, and security company in the Detroit & Flint, Michigan areas, Hennig Solutions.
